Profit before tax (PBT) of Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd stood at Rs 77.93 crore in Q2 FY26, gaining 9.13% year-on-year, and plunging by 18.37% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 89 crore, jumping 21.03% YoY and slipping 5.49% sequentially. Total expenses inched up 1.55% to Rs 668.59 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 495.4 crore, posting a minor increase of 4.13% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 69.57 crore, rising by 8.48% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 7.54% to Rs 2515.64 crore, while net profit eased 2.25% to Rs 194.82 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 25375% to Rs 262.55 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 0.48% to Rs 275.81 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 156.18 crore in FY26, as against Rs 274.22 crore in FY25. Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd crashed 18.08% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.81% during the same period.
